Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

At Crossways we believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life. Children develop quickly in the early years and a child’s experiences between birth and age five have a major impact on their future. Through our embedded school values we begin to develop and nurture strong positive attitudes where children become proud and respectful of themselves, others and their environment, instilling the idea of resolve, independence and high expectations for all. Children join us at the beginning of the school year they turn five. We firmly believe that education is a partnership with parents and carers and alongside each other we aim to support all children to “Stand on Tiptoe” and achieve the very highest standards.
