As part of our ‘People who help us’ topic, EYFS enjoyed a visit from the PCSO’s who told us all about being a police officer. We learned about ‘safe adults’ and who to ask if we get lost. We also learned about the police car and heard the very loud siren (which made us jump!).
Due to severe weather and the safety of the children and staff we have had to make the decision to close the school today. We appreciate your understanding. Optional extra homework for the weekend is to have fun in the snow- build, play and wrap up warm! We will see you all on Monday

Year 1 thought very sensitively about soldiers from the past and made their own poppies as a remembrance. We enjoyed learning about WW1 soldier kit bags and ration packs from WW1 and looking at an exhibition of WW1 soldier’s medals and photos in the Junior hall.
